Connected monitoring

Connect with an administrator-provided key

Open the hosted console without storing the long-lived key on Android.

1. Obtain a Sentinel access key through your deployment administrator’s secure channel. Do not paste it into support email or a screenshot.

2. Choose Connect with an access key on the Android home screen. This checks the configured Sentinel service over HTTPS. Enter the key and tap Open secure console.

3. Review the access role and inventory. The raw key is exchanged for a short-lived session; Android stores that session encrypted with a non-exportable Android Keystore key. A saved session reconnects when the app reopens.

An invalid or expired credential does not grant access. Confirm the key with your administrator, check that the service is available, and sign in again if the session has expired.

The browser monitoring console uses a short-lived token in that browser tab’s session storage. Lock the console when finished. The native Android and browser sessions are separate.
