Enable, disable and troubleshoot native alerts
Control optional Firebase notifications and Android permission.
In a live Android session, open Account and choose Enable native alerts. On Android 13 or newer, allow the Android notification permission if you want notifications.
Enabling alerts registers this app installation with Firebase Cloud Messaging and the Sentinel service. Firebase processes the registration token and alert content to deliver notifications. This is an online feature and is unavailable in synthetic preview.
To stop alerts, choose Disable native alerts. You can also disable notifications in Android app settings. Lock and log out clears local display authorization; unregistering the server token requires a working connection.
If alerts are missing, check the in-app enabled state, Android notification permission, internet access and your device’s background restrictions. Open the console and refresh to see events directly. Push timing is not guaranteed.
The ordinary website’s Enable alerts control requests browser notification permission and displays alerts while its console is running. It does not provide the native Android background push channel.
